ECOcube
An autonomous floating station where boaters empty black-water tanks, leave sorted waste and refill desalinated water — right on their route.
01 — The challenge
Where infrastructure ends, pollution begins.
Many anchorages, bays and busy sailing routes have no facilities for vessel waste. Too often, black water ends up in the sea.
ECOcube brings the infrastructure to the boats. Placed along key routes, at marina edges or in protected areas, it lets vessels dispose of waste and refill water without detours or delays — powered entirely by the sun and built from bio-composite materials.
Autonomous
7 kW of solar panels and a 30 kWh battery: no grid connection, no fuel.
Complete service
Black-water pump-out, sorted solid waste and up to 120 L/h of desalinated water.
Smart
Remote monitoring of tanks, energy and systems; AIS-visible; QR-code access via app.
Sustainable
Hull of natural fibres and bio-resin; collected waste is sorted for recycling.
